Ashley Larson is a visual artist based in Boise, Idaho, but originally from a small mill town in southwestern Washington. She received her AA from Lower Columbia College, her BFA from Central Washington University, and is currently a MFA Candidate at Boise State University.

She has been formally trained in drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture. She currently is interested in exploring different mediums and processes as a means to convey complex ideas of childhood memory. Working through her own lost memories of her youth due to endured trauma, she uses knowledge gained from her family members to construct these memories as a sort of second-hand experience of her own life.
